Judgement at scale

With AI becoming more powerful and automating workflows with human sign-off, we will be increasing spending time judging the output of AI.

In small isolated cases this judgement is easy, but as more teams start to automate workflows the speed of sign-offs will start to become a bottleneck.

Team alignment

Having completely autonomous teams will prevent the judgement bottleneck that will occur if teams pause every time a decision needs to be made. To facilitate this process you need the team to be able to answer the following questions (and give the same answers):

  1. Does this meet our team and company standards?

AI can generate data at pace, if it starts to deviate from your internal standards, it will deviate quickly with each round.

  1. Does this add value?

As above, AI can generate an abundance of information, and can generate useless data faster than ever before. Just because data has been generated does not mean it is useful.

  1. Feedback loops

If the information is not useful, is there a clear method to change the system to prevent this from happening in future?

  1. Downstream effects

Will accepting this data affect other teams? What is the process for notifying other teams?

  1. Stakeholder notification

If the effect of making the decision is large, what is the process of notifying senior stakeholders?
